Bob Laster Spring

Bob Laster has had a lifelong interest and love of photography. His first camera was a Kodak Brownie acquired at the age of eight. He worked all summer in a hardware store a few years later to purchase a Bell and Howell 8mm camera. Many years and many cameras later he now shoots with a Nikon D850.

Bob joined the Memphis Camera Club twenty-five years ago to learn more about photography. He has been club vice president, president, competition chairman, and board member. Bob is also a repeat recipient of the Memphis Camera Club photographer of the year award. He has exhibited with the club as well as individually in the Mid-South. Bob is the author of the photography book "Horseshoe Lake Arkansas". He has traveled for photography throughout the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, Asia, and North America and ben a semifinalist in the "Nature's Best photography contest.   

Bob Laster will discuss the many way to make your flower macros pop, in preparation for the upcoming Club visit to a Spring garden.
