Assigned Categories 2026

In selected months there will be an additional competition category that is open to your interpretation. These months allow for a fifth photo entry. Special assigned categories for 2026 are as follows:

February	Black & White	Must be pure black and white with shades of gray. No color please.
April	Eggs	Eggs of any kind. Can be fresh eggs or cooked eggs, or even rotten eggs as well as eggs of any color. Can be fake eggs or toy eggs.
June	Intentional Camera Movement	Intentional camera movement or ICM is moving your camera during the exposure. A long shutter speed may facilitate this technique. Any topic is suitable so have fun with this technique.
August	Writing Implements	Consider pencils, ink pens, markers, fountain pens, or anything else that is used for writing.
October	Reflections	An image that has a reflection as its major focal point. The reflection can be on any surface that
December	Holiday Ornament	Any kind of holiday ornament for any holiday.

NOTE: Please keep in mind that assigned category entries must have been taken in the current club year (in this case Jan – Dec 2026).
