PHOTOGRAPHER PAUL NOLTE will be guest speaker for the Memphis Camera Club (MCC) July 12, 2018. Nolte will share his experiences of living and working in the wilds of Yellowstone National Park during the winter of 2018.
An MCC member since 2012 and a long-time Memphian, Paul has traveled to some of the world's remote locations such as Cuba, Indonesia, and Palau to pursue his avocation as a nature photographer. Many of his trips involve underwater photography.
In January, Paul became a volunteer for Yellowstone Forever and spent the next three months working and living inside Yellowstone's northern range. Yellowstone Forever is the park’s official educational and fund-raising nonprofit partner. As a volunteer, Nolte's main function was assisting with educational activities at the historic Lamar Buffalo Ranch located in the heart of Lamar Valley inside Yellowstone.
During his July 12 presentation, Paul will share his experiences, stories and images from his weeks in the Yellowstone outback.
